Special Announcement from the Youth to Youth club: The date of the annual Talent Show has been changed to Saturday, January 24th. We encourage all students who are interested to sign up for their acts as soon as possible. This is the time to show our school what you’ve got! The winners will receive a cash prize at the end of the night. If you would like to sign up to be in the show and haven’t already, please visit Ms. Buono in Room A202 or speak with Emily Weiss or Sarah Violante. Thank you!

Are you a minority student interested in helping other minority students achieve?  Do you value diversity and hold leadership skills?  The club formerly known as MSAN (Maximizing Student Potential Now) has been changed to SMS, Students Making Strides.  Join us every other Monday in A213 to come up with and implement an action plan to reduce the achievement gap at FLHS.  Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 24 at 2:30.  We will be brainstorming our action plan and also doing some initial planning for the Westchester County conference in the spring.  Hope to see you there!   Let Ms. Colen or Mr. Salvador know if you have any questions.  Also, Lacie Dunn is the President of SMS.
