Tier I of ASPIRE applications are now being accepted in room A308.  You MUST currently have ASPIRE on your schedule to apply.  All applications are due by 2 pm on Friday October 3.  Do not wait for the last minute!  Applications can be found on the ASPIRE Google Site:  https://sites.google.com/a/student.bcsdny.org/aspire-information/

ICE HOCKEY MEETING with Coach Miele RESCHEDULED from this Friday, 9/19 to: Monday, 9/22 @ 4:00 Room C-108. Also, BOYS’ SWIM & DIVE MEETING on Wednesday, October 1st, Room C-108 @ 2:45.

Club Fair is today in the small gym during the collaborative lunch time. All students should plan on attending the club fair and sign up/learn about club opportunities.

The applications for class officer are available now for interested students to pick up in guidance.  Elections for class officers will be on September 30th during our next advisory.

Get involved in helping lead our school.  The Principal’s Advisory Committee is being expanded to include a larger, even more representative group of students from all grades.   Consider joining this group.  The group will meet with advisors and Dr. Adelberg twice a month.  This group will work on school wide spirit projects as well as discussing issues and policies that matter to students. Here’s a great opportunity to have input and student voice, both in making us a more united school and in giving students an opportunity to effect real change.

The 14th Annual Writing Retreat Weekend will be held at Sharpe Reservation in Fishkill, New York the weekend of October 17-19.  Writing facilitator this year is Mark St. Germain, playwright, author, film and television writer.  See your English teacher for an application.  There are only 25 spots, so don't delay.  See Mrs. Sarna for more details.

Now that schedules are locked, we have some elective classes open for enrollment. Speak (or email) your counselor if you would like to consider enrolling in one of the following courses:
